Young Toddlers
Our warm, home-like toddler room supports early learning through play, movement, and exploration. We partner with parents through open communication and send daily reports with details on meals, naps, potty times, and activities. Toddlers enjoy a large soft play area, hands-on toys, books, and a safe outdoor space designed just for them.
Infants
At Downingtown Academy, Our Infant Program follows PA Early Learning Standards and supports each baby’s unique growth. With primary caregivers, daily teacher-parent check-ins, and a nurturing environment, we foster early milestones through sensory play, sign language, and loving interaction.
Pre-School
Our play-based curriculum supports all areas of development and follows PA Early Learning Standards. Kids explore themed activities each month in centers like Art, Math, and Dramatic Play, building skills through hands-on learning.
OIder Toddlers
Our program supports growing independence and social skills through hands-on learning and pretend play. Toddlers explore books, puzzles, blocks, and sensory activities like sand and water play. Daily updates keep you informed about meals, naps, and your child’s experiences.
Pre-Kindergarten
Our Pre-K program follows the PA Learning Standards and focuses on learning through play. Children explore themed activities that nurture growth across physical, social, emotional, and cognitive areas. Teachers guide discovery with hands-on learning, open-ended questions, and creative lesson plans both in the classroom and outdoor play yard.
